I'm in the process of writing a brief reflection of Earl, hopefully I can get it done tonight. For those of you that don't know, Earl Root, of the bands Aesma Daeva and God-Awful (and the original, non-shitty band named Disturbed), proprietor of Root Cellar Records and head of Root of All Evil Records, died last Friday after a ten-year battle with lymphoma.

KMSU Spring Pledge Drive!!

If you haven't figured it out yet, this April KMSU is doing the spring pledge drive. KMSU is an independent public radio station that is NOT affiliated with Minnesota Public Radio and whatever you donate helps KMSU stay on the airwaves. If you want to keep this station alive make sure you contribute. You have 3 and a half days left and we're already up to $17,000. Our goal is $20,000 so let's break that!

How do you get a hold of the station to donate?

-There are 2 numbers to call at the station and they are: 507-389-5678 or 1-800-456-7810. You can leave a voice mail with your name, address, amount you wish to pledge and your phone number.

-The other way is going to the KMSU website and go to the contact us. Send an e-mail to James Gullickson with your name, phone number, address, and how much you would like to pledge. Please do not send, I repeat do not send credit card info. Its not a secure portal.

-Then the last one is to send an e-mail to htbdragons@hotmail.com. Same as above, your name, phone number, address, and how much you would like to pledge. Again, Do not send credit card info.
